The Central New York musician enjoyed a large degree of success during the 80's with Roger Wilco and the Radio Waves. The release of their album 'History', along with their unique live shows, made them a favorite throughout large parts of the Northeastern United States. Here, after the album '42', Banks returns with his second solo release. Songs From My Bed consists of ten solid tracks written by, and largely performed by, Banks himself. Bits of blues, rock, eclectic pop and avantgarde jazz all uniquely combine to create a wonderful aural atmosphere. Included is the catchy, tongue-in-cheek 'Heart Like Hitler'. A semi- bitter song about lost love that one can actually 'tap their feet to'. Fun and thoughtful stuff.
