Formulated to fit a wide variety of protective coating needs. Application is easy: immerse the item into the molten plastic for a few seconds and withdraw. Coating solidifies within one minute. Coating protects tools, machine parts, and other items from rust and cushions items during handling, storage, and shipping. The protective coating peels off easily and can be re-melted and reused many times.
Thermoplastic Rubber Based Hot Melt Dip has very low odor and does not leave an oil film on parts. Oil-free formula is ideal for saws and small items that do not require long term rust protection. Rubber-based dip is the softest of the hot dip coating types and requires lower temperature for melting (300 degrees F as compared to 310 or 350 degrees).
