All of our tensioners are now Black Hard Anodized.  We don't have pics of the black yet in the listings.  Hard anodizing provides more wear resistance to the moving arm.

Chariot Chain Tensioner for Most any ATV  

This is a universal tensioner which will mount to just about any atv.  We have many tensioners with footpeg mounting brackets for specific atv's that use both footpeg holes.  One of these specific model tensioners may fit your atv also.  If you send a couple pictures of this area of your atv and measure the distance between the foot peg bolts I could match a model to yours.  If not then this universal tensioner will work great.  If for any reason it will not work on your model you can return it for a full refund.

What does a chain tensioner accomplish?  It keeps equal tension on your chain which reduces wear on both the chain and sprockets.   Constant tension keeps the chain from harshly taking up slop when accelerating.   Tensioners greatly reduce the likelihood that your chain will derail or break from fast accelerations.   Replacing your engine cases because a broken chain bound up around the drive sprocket is expensive.  This is just one more safeguard against that.
