Does this remove all the moisture? I'm trying to concentrate tea and thus there is a exclusively water being pulled out...
Answer: I'm not sure of your intended use for this product. It's used with a vacuum pump and removes moisture from the air within the air lines. It's deigned to remove small amounts of water from air.
Question: Our fittings are 1/2 inch, can we use a reducer to go into the water trap and then go back up as the vacuum pump is 1/2 inch thread
Answer: You can do this as long as the thread is reduced to 1/4" NPT. Keep in mind, you will reduce the volume of flow by doing this though.
Question: Is this for removing moisture from a line that is under a very strong vacuum?
Answer: This is a water trap to remove moisture from the line before it enters your vacuum pump. Water damage to a vacuum pump is not covered under warranty if you are not using a water trap. Most pumps cannot have liquid in them. This stops that.
Question: does it come with a filter /have 3/4 HP pump?
Answer: No, this item is a water trap only. It removes moisture from the air so it doesn't build up inside the vacuum pump and cause damage.
