Alpha GPC is a natural choline compound found in the brain and in foods such as milk. An acetyl-choline precursor that can cross the blood–brain barrier. Choline is one of the basic nutrients necessary for optimal cognitive function, because choline is a precursor for acetyl-choline, a key neurotransmitter without which we couldn't move, think, remember, or sleep.
Alpha GPC has not been evaluated as a therapeutic medicine in Australia, so no claim of therapeutic or preventive action can be made, nor is it sold to treat any disease or illness or cause any physiological action. Only the purity can be guaranteed, see attached Certificate of Analysis (COA) in listing photo's. However there is plenty of research that you can easily look up for yourself. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alpha-GPC

With some supplements, you have to read the fine print to find out it's mixed with secondary cheaper products to make it look like you are getting more...

It is always a good idea to measure with accurate scales.
Your Brain as you Age
(Extract from ilifelink -> cdp-choline and alpha gpc what to feed your head)
Aging humans and animals tend to suffer from impaired short-term memory. This loss of working memory is largely the result of deficient functioning of the “cholinergic” neurons in a part of the brain known as the basal forebrain. The age-related deficits in this part of the brain include decreased synthesis and release of acetylcholine, as well as decreases in the number of cholinergic brain cells and in the number and function of acetylcholine receptors on such cells. You might reasonably conclude from this that all we need to do to slow down brain aging is supply more choline to the brain, but you’d be only partly right. The problem is that choline transport into the brain is not especially efficient and tends to decline with age. Fortunately, there are two choline-based supplements that can do the trick...
Serving Suggestion...
Use a scoop measure to make a mixture where 1 scoop = your serving size (say 250mg)... in water or Juice, to avoid having to measure with scales each time...
All the Supplements are different weights for a particular volume, so unfortunately there is no 'standard' 250mg scoop measure you can buy. Also 250mg is a fairly small amount, typically too small for a scoop you can buy in the supermarket, but if you mix it with some dry powder like Benefiber or Psyllium powder, protein powder or something like that you can make a mixture where 1 scoop = 250mg. A dry powder also has the benefit of helping keep the mixture dry as Aplha GPC tends to absorb water from the air and can clump and get sticky.
For 100 servings where 1 scoop = 250mg serving
No claim of therapeutic action or prophylactic action is implied, nor is it sold to treat any disease or illness or cause any physiological action.
