Offered for sale is this lovely vintage Chinese brass silk iron. This example is decorated with a cherry blossom motif all around the bowl and the handle is adorned with a stem and two stones -- one red and one green.  The green stone has a crack/small chip that appears white in the pic.  The base is stamped:  CHINA.   This silk iron would have been used with cinders or hot coals in the bowl -- the condition appears to be used and good with wear appropriate for a vintage item. This brass silk iron is about 5-1/2 inches long, 3 inches wide and 1-1/2 inches tall.  Nice, collectible ready for you.  Thank you for looking!
