New SeaStar (Teleflex Marine) XTREME mechanical rotary steering system. Part number SSX17618. Includes cable, helm, and bezel to fully replace an existing steering system or as part of a new installation. Features “No FeedBack” (NFB) technology to lock out steering loads, a smooth 4.2-turn lock-to-lock helm, and a common 3/4″ tapered keyed steering shaft for wheels up to 16″. Suitable for most outboards up to 150 HP that have a tilt tube and link arm.

Cable Length (Important!)
This system comes with a 18 foot cable (SSX17618). Read the measuring guide in the product photos thoroughly to make sure it is what you need. The 18ft is measured from the helm connector to the end of the stainless shaft that connects to the link arm. If measuring an existing cable and you only measure the cable jacket, it will be too short!
