Connect White cable vehicle negative earth return

Fitting Instructions

Fit the 7 pin flat Socket  to the rear of the  Vehicle for easy access for the  trailer  plug

Connect the lighting  wiring circuits from the socket  to the vehicles rear light wiring 

Connect the Blue wire to the vehicle’s electric trailer  brake controller 

Connect the Black wire to AUX

SOLDER AND INSULATE  ALL CONNECTIONS  FOR  BETTER ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

Functions

The 7 pin TVLR socket is designed to reduce power load from the vehicle’s rear lighting circuits

The  trailer lighting current load is drawn direct from the vehicle’s battery

The current load from the vehicle lighting circuits to the  Socket  wiring circuits  is 40mili amps

The 7 Pin  Trailer Electronic TVLR Socket has a reverse polarity spike EMF protection  inbuilt

The Electronics inside the 7 pin TVLR socket is submerged in a heat resistance liquid and is weatherproof

The 7 pin TVLR Socket has a strong Mounting brackets

Early model  vehicles to the late 80’s have heavier wiring and switches for rear lighting and trailer connections

 Late Model vehicles   from 90’s onwards have thinner wiring and low amp switches and transistorised electronics for rear vehicle  LED  lighting only. Extra loads on the wiring will cause damage to the vehicles electronics
