The Rope
      
        This electric fencing 6mm rope has 5 stainless steel conductors and 1 tinned copper conductor (0.2mm diameter) running through it. The tinned copper gives this rope a low resistance of 0.25ohms/m  and makes it ideal for long distance electric fences. It has a 380kg breaking strain and is UV protected for a longer life.
 
If you're looking for a long distance conductor that's easily seen by horses and suitable for windy conditions then this is for you.
 
The Connectors

These steel connectors are essential for getting a good connection (both physical and electrical) between ropes.  If you are tying polyropes together you will be losing power each time there is a knot. These connectors ensure a good connection so you don't lose power at each join on the fenceline as you get further away from the energiser.
