Introducing the dynamic lead system

A totally new lead system for carping. A lead system that you have never seen before. A lead system that the fish have never seen before.

A lead system with greater hooking efficiency than an inline lead, more reliable snag release than a lead clip and the most tangle resistant run rig system.

How does it work?

There are three key components in the system; the inboard insert, the run rig clip and the dynamic lead. These components come together to create a single, seamless, compact unit. The dynamic lead system is 100% adaptable, with all dynamic leads being fully compatible with the inboard insert the run clip and the gripper sleeve.

Different lead system, different results

All experienced anglers know that if you fish the same way as everyone else you are likely to have average results, but if you fish different you can have outstanding results.

The Angletec dynamic lead system is a lead system that the fish have never encountered before.

The dynamic lead system has been designed to work as both a free running and a semi-fixed lead system.

By moving the gripper sleeve along the inboard insert, the release pressure of the inboard insert can be adjusted to suit different sized leads or angling situations.

The resistance of the gripper sleeve sleeve is designed for use with a hook bait or rig incorporating a small stringer or small PVA bag. If you are fishing with a larger stringer or bag, we recommend you wrap PVA tape around the lead.

The angle of the inboard insert in the lead means it stays fixed when your fish picks up the bait. But once hooked, a shake of the fish's head and the inboard insert slides out and is running on the line, stopping the fish using the lead weight to shed the hook.
  The hook link is centered directly over the lead’s centre of gravity, ensuring your fish picks up the full weight of the lead.

Minimises the risk of tangles

The angle of the inboard insert in the lead ensures that the hooklink is always angled away from the lead, reducing the risk of tangles and ensuring optimal bait presentation.

The aerodynamics and weighting of the system has been designed to provide consistent and stable casting. Add an anti tangle sleeve and tubing, and the whole system becomes almost impossible to tangle.

Snag release system takes fish welfare to a new level

A key design aspect of the dynamic lead system relates to the risk of the lead snagging and the consequential benefits for fish welfare.The run rig clipis designed with a unique lip that fits on to a groove on the lead.  The tension of the lip around the groove has been calibrated to take the guess work out of how much pressure is needed to release the lead if it snags. The pre determined pressure has been designed to only release the lead if it becomes snagged.

Anglers can use the dynamic lead system in the knowledge that they are using a system that is as safe as it can be, without loosing a lead on every fish.
