PACIFIC OCEAN (April 5, 2011) The fast attack submarine USS Tucson (SSN 770), the guided-missile cruisers USS Lake Erie (CG 70) and USS Port Royal (CG 73), the guided-missile destroyers USS Chung-Hoon (DDG 93), USS Russell (DDG 59), USS Chafee (DDG 90) and the Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Yukon (T-AO 202) transit in waters surrounding the island of Oahu during the Koa Kai photo exercise. Hawaii-based surface Navy and other combatant units participated in Koa Kai 11-2, an integrated training event with the goal of attaining deployment certificates and training.
