These AI rods are specifically designed for Insemination, they have a rounded tip to facilitate a traumatic insertion and are thin walled and flexible making them suitable to use on large and small breeds. Being flexible (or semi rigid) these follow the natural tract of the bitch, which is curved. Another feature is the rods become more flexible at 38°C - so by rubbing them with a paper towel before use you can increase the flexibility of the rod.??
