Garland Park is situated about 9 miles east of Carmel off of Carmel Valley road. The Carmel River runs through the park, which has dozens of miles of hiking trails that go up into the mountains to over 2000 feet above sea level.

Cerise's paintings have been shown in galleries in Carmel, Big Sur and the Monterey Peninsula since the 1990's including Ventana and the Post Ranch Mercantile in Big Sur. The second photo shows two of Cerise's paintings (on the left) on display at the Post Ranch Mercantile in Big Sur. The Post Ranch Mercantile has been one of the most exclusive art showcase's in California for over 20 years.
