"Com Cru Des Gru 7th Fleet 69-70" is a cruise yearbook produced by the Commander Cruiser Destroyer Flotilla, U.S. Seventh Fleet, to document its Far East cruise of 1969-1970. I believe the ships involved (they're the ones pictured, anyway) are the U.S.S. St. Paul, U.S.S. Boston and U.S.S. Long Beach, and the cruise took them to Hawaii, the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand and a couple times to Vietnam for "special operations." There are many b&w photos of the officers and sailors working, relaxing and hazing the "polliwogs" (new crew members) along the way. It's a modest production when compared to some of the huge hardcovers issued during the era for aircraft carriers and the like: a 48 page, 8"x10.5" softcover, stapled binding. It's in good condition with a couple small stains on the front, a bit more of them on the back, light wrinkling from page turning. There are in interior marks, and the binding is sound.
