HONEYCOMB CERAMIC SOLDERING  BLOCK 5-1/2" X 7-3/4" X 1/2" THICK

This asbestos free ceramic soldering  block contains thousands of perforated offset tiny holes; about 1/16", thus improving heat dissipation for improved soldering. This soldering block has one flat side and another ridged side.The solder block can withstand temperatures up to 2000º F/1093ºC. Tiny holes or perforations in the soldering board can hold earrings posts or other pins.It allows you to pin or hold down tricky shapes and also provides more even heat dissipation. Also binding wire can be used pressed into the holes in the block to pin or hold down pieces while soldering.
