- The eSATA+USB (Combo) cable combines eSATA performance with USB ease in a single connector that eliminates the need to carry a power adapter in some scenarios and keeps limited USB ports free to attach other peripherals. For use with newer computers equipped with an eSATA+USB port (Combo-Port), the eSATA+USB Cable connects external SATA drives with a single-cable solution that simplifies connections with full eSATA data transfer speeds and 5 V to 12 V of power.
