February 2026 - Panasonic Australia may now source Stock Manufactured by Panasonic in either China or Japan depending on what is available.  There is no difference in specification between Stock manufactured in either location, however Stock manufactured in China uses up to 30% of recycled materials, which is not yet possible in Japan.   (From 2014 to 2019 there were some differences)  This is only for Standard White Eneloop Batteries.   Eneloop Pro (Black Batteries) are only produced in Japan.  Packaging is clearly labeled Panasonic Australia and Panasonic New Zealand. Packaging and Batteries clearly display Country of Manufacture.
