13 pin towing sockets are the newest style of towing socket and as of September 2008 all caravans manufactured will be wired up with 13 pin plugs that meet ISO11446 (International Standards Organisation) and the U.K. representative B.S.I. (British Standards Institute) requirements. The 13 pin socket is also more adaptable for detachable tow-bars that have a spring mounting single socket plate that can be folded up behind the bumper so that it is invisible.

TEM1A Audible warning device for towbar electrics

The audible monitor beeps when the trailer indicator is on. If there is no beeping you know the indicator is out on the trailer.

Monitors
Monitors are devices that sense the flow of current to the trailer or caravan flashers, and fulfil a legal requirement to warn of a bulb failure on the trailer flashers. The simplest device is the audible monitor TEM1A which is boot fitting, and which interrupts the individual flasher circuits at the point at which the 12N cable attaches to the car’s flasher circuits.

Feedback to the driver is via an internal 2khz electromagnetic buzzer, which is sweeter sounding than the old style 500hz buzzer that it replaces, is at a pitch that is more responsive to the ear, and is much more reliable. Yet the sound is much less annoying than the high pitched square wave piezo enunciated types. The use of surface mount technology and a mini-buzzer probably makes this the smallest monitor on the market.

We send all our items by courier, requiring a signature on delivery. Deliveries are made Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).

Returns

The returns policy on each listing outlines; when the return period begins, the length of the return period and the person or persons responsible for expenses endured by return postage. PF Jones does not accept returns outside of the time frame stated in the returns policy.

All items including Click & Collect orders must be sent to the PF Jones returns address. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the safe transit of all returned items.

All returns must be authorised by a PF Jones employee and accompanied with an RMA number. Returned items must be in the original condition with no signs of fitting or use.

Subsequent to PF Jones receiving a returned item from the Buyer, PF Jones endeavours to inspect the item within 7 working days. Once the inspection is complete, the Buyer will be contacted directly regarding a refund or to explain any issues raised as a consequence of the inspection.

Subsequent to the PF Jones' inspection of a returned item, where required, PF Jones endeavours to refund the Buyer within 7 working days. Refunds can only be issued to the Buyer via the original payment method.

Any item that is made to order cannot be cancelled or returned to the Seller. The Buyer will be made aware of any item that is made to order in writing prior to an order being accepted.
