Inside this package you will receive not only a brand new EPROM with your chosen calibration programmed onto it, but also a detailed fitting instruction booklet that includes details on required fuel pressure, CO level at idle, spark plug gaps, boost pressure and expected AFR under load. All the details you or your tuner will need to get the best from your new calibration.
Long gone are the old-fashioned chips that caused poor idling, incredibly bad fuel consumption and levels of fuel that simply washed all the oil from the bores and accelerated engine wear beyond belief. All our Engine calibrations are carried out by one of the company owners directly, so we do NOT settle for second best and never say "Ah, that will do" Our reputation is on the line and to date, it is still 100% intact as anyone who reads our feedback, our web forum (Passionford.com) or our double page Fast Ford, Performance Ford or Rallye News magazine adverts will know. Your cold running and starting performance will be as per the factory, as will the cruising fuel consumption and driveability. Unless you specify otherwise, this chip will be calibrated to suit the standard L8 Weber ECU. If you have Collins, Pectel, Wolf or other non-standard items fitted to your ECU please advise us so we can calibrate accordingly. No extra charge. Please Note: We only recommend the use of 97 octane or higher fuel with our Cosworth performance calibrations. If you have a different octane fuel in mind, please contact us to discuss further. Also, the chip you receive may look a little different to the one in the pictures and may not have exactly the same instructions as I have used the same picture for all my listings to save time.
