Authentic Vintage 1936 Ihagee Kine Exakta I Genuine Brown Leather Camera Case - Professionally Restored Piece
Authentic pre-war genuine brown leather case for the legendary Kine Exakta 1 (Version 1) 35mm SLR camera, manufactured by Ihagee in Dresden, Germany around 1936. This is an incredibly rare accessory from the very first generation of the world's first widely successful 35mm SLR system. The front of the case features the classic embossed script Exakta logo, and the lens snout bears the original embossed Ihagee brand mark. It comes complete with its original leather neck strap and the proper bottom metal retaining screw to secure your vintage camera inside. Perfect addition to complete a high-value collector set.
Condition
The case has been structurally restored to ensure functionality and long-term preservation. Due to its significant age (around 90 years old), the front lower part had detached. It has been neatly re-stitched and reinforced from the bottom with a protective black textured reinforcement band, restoring its rigid shape and durability. The original leather displays beautiful vintage patina, natural surface cracking, scuffs, and minor cosmetic wear, all of which confirm its authentic historical character. The stitching along the edges is strong and mostly intact. The metal snap button on the back and the camera screw lock securely.
