A scarce Gold parallel from the Rookie Update of the Year insert celebrating Ichiro’s historic 2001 MLB debut. This card is serial‑numbered 96/100, making it one of the toughest Ichiro rookie‑season parallels from Upper Deck’s Update line.
This insert commemorates Ichiro’s unprecedented rookie campaign—AL MVP, Rookie of the Year, batting champion, and league leader in hits. Gold parallels rarely surface, especially in clean condition, and remain a cornerstone for Ichiro master collectors.
