The Front Plate is made of Brass with a highly polished 'silver mirror' Chrome Finish. It has a minor scratch on it ... see picture.
The body is also made from Brass.
It has a single lever for operation (the lever moves in/out for on/off, and left/right for hot/cold).
It uses 1/4 Turn Ceramic Disc Technology.
It is supplied as a '1 Way' valve and has 1 function.
There is a badge underneath the lever to denote hot (red) and cold (blue).
The valve body requires approximately 5cms depth for fixing to the 'concealed' pipework. There are 2 screw holes in the brass body to assist with fixing.
The Round style front plate is some 140mm in diameter.
The 'male' inlets (2) and female outlets (2) are 1/2" BSP (the threads measure 3/4" across in diameter).
Connection to copper pipework is recommended.
The minimum required water pressure is 0.5 bars, although it is recommended to operate at between 1 to 5 bars.
Subject to suitable hot and cold water pressures, this Valve will work on the following: Mains / Combination boiler / Gravity fed / Pumped hot water unvented hot water / Standard hot water cylinder type systems
