Please feel free to send me an offer if you're interested. I'm always happy to consider sensible offers. This is an old collection lot of around fifteen small mineral specimens, most of them still in their original perky boxes, thumbnail boxes and card trays, and several with the original collector's or dealer's labels tucked in with them. Named pieces I can read from the labels in the photos include: Fluorite, Heights Mine, Weardale, England - green fluorite crystal group in a black glass-topped thumbnail box with the original typed label. Cassiterite, Camborne, Cornwall - dark tin oxide piece in a plastic box with old typed label. Kainosite-(Y), Whitesmith Mine, Strontian, Argyll, Highland Region, Scotland - with the original printed Richard Tayler Minerals card. Chrysocolla - old hand-numbered card in a black glass-topped box, with a small blue-green piece. Yellow smithsonite on limestone, Sheshodonnell East Vein, Co. Clare, Eire - bright honey-yellow crystalline group with printed label, one of the nicer pieces in the lot. There are also a small box of gemmy brown-amber crystal fragments, a quartz-matrix plate with orange and dark green mineral growths, a purple-and-yellow crusted plastic-boxed piece, and several more small boxed thumbnails, plus one further old Irish locality label. For scale I've photographed everything alongside my wooden ruler. The whole group as laid out covers roughly 30 cm; the individual specimens are thumbnail to small-cabinet size, mostly around 2-5 cm, with the boxed pieces in standard 4 cm perky boxes. Condition is as you'd expect from an older collection - the specimens themselves look sound, the boxes and labels show age, foxing and a little wear. Sold exactly as photographed, boxes and labels included, as they're a big part of the appeal. All items include tracking.
