Beautiful antique Victorian buttoned boots with ribbon bow rosettes

~ These are so so beautiful and much more wonderful in real life as they’re so petit and narrow that it’s hard to believe they were ever worn. The sole measures 2.25 inch at its widest point. So tiny.
Made from brown leather that has taken on a lovely patina over time. The boots date to around 1870 and are made by
PH Herber Breveth, which is stamped inside the boots and on the soles. They have straight soles with no left or right and as mentioned before so narrow and dainty. The boots are fastened with many buttons that are all present, which is rare to find. The scalloped tops to the boots are trimmed with large ribbon bow rosettes that are just gorgeous. I think these boots are super and definitely museum worthy. You would not be disappointed, as they’re so wondrous in actual life. The photos don’t do them justice for some reason. I did pay a lot more than I’m asking for these, so grab a treasure. A lovely addition to a collector of antique shoes and perfect for display.
EBay wouldn’t allow me not to add a shoe size, but please ignore as they are not for wearing. So the sizing is not correct.

The condition is very good and strong. Looked to have minimal wear and not worn much. Fading to the bows. Scuffs to the back heel.  Please study photos as they are part of the description.

Sorry returns are not accepted. Thank you for looking and please see my other items listed.
