Vintage Fenton Style Ruby Red Diamond Quilt Parlor Lamp Base & Shade

Up for sale is a gorgeous vintage "Gone with the Wind" style parlor hurricane lamp base paired with a striking ruby red diamond-quilted puff glass shade. This piece features the iconic ruffled "pie crust" rim top edge and deeply textured glass panels heavily associated with mid-century American art glass makers like Fenton.

The lamp frame features a classic pierced metal decorative gallery basket and a weighted metal pedestal footed base, styled accurately after late 19th-century antique oil lamps. The glass shade has been tested under UV blacklight and absorbs light normally, confirming a rich, authentic vintage ruby red glass composition.

This item is in beautiful vintage/antique cosmetic condition and is structurally sound. The metal components show a rich, aged patina consistent with age. The ruby red glass shade has a few minor "flea bites" (tiny micro-chips) along the very bottom hidden edge of the fitter rim. Please note that once the shade is placed inside the 6-inch fitter ring, these tiny imperfections are completely hidden from view and do not impact display or usage. No major cracks, breaks, or visible chips on the body or upper ruffled rim.
