A premium piece of British cutlery history, this traditional Barlow is fitted with exceptionally detailed stag-groove covers and highlights the manufacturer's iconic 'Eye Witness' stamp alongside the celebrated 'Real Knife' banner across the main clip blade.
The knife was made in England by Taylor's Eye Witness. The handle appears to be made from molded jigged composite (stag-imitation resin) and the blade and metal parts from carbon steel. The knife's main blade is approx. 6.2 cm (overall closed length is approx. 8.7 cm). The knife appears to be from approx. 1970s.
The condition of the knife is in very good vintage condition. There is signs of age and use. The knife may need sharpening, cleaning and oiling. The factory blade etching remains remarkably crisp and highly legible with minimal carbon fade. The scales and long nickel-silver bolsters show beautifully light cosmetic pocket wear without any structural flaws.
These knifes could be used but are more intended for collectors. I've done me best to identify and describe the details of the knife. The photos are the best description, as this is the item you will receive.
