A globally recognized staple of daily preparedness, this authentic Swiss-made Tinker model features a versatile two-layer layout replacing the classic corkscrew with a heavy-duty Phillips head back-tool, all neatly housed within iconic high-gloss red Cellidor scales.
The knife was made in Switzerland by Victorinox. The handle appears to be made from glossy red Cellidor (synthetic polymer) and the blade and metal parts from high-grade stainless steel. The knife's main blade is approx. 6.8 cm (overall closed length is exactly 91mm / 9.1 cm). The knife appears to be from approx. 1992–2005 (Drawn from the style of the text configuration on the "Officier Suisse" stamping layout).
The condition of the knife is in good vintage condition. There is signs of age and use. The knife may need sharpening, cleaning and oiling. The red plastic scales display standard light superficial pocket scuffing and minor scratching from historic carry, but remain completely free of deep cracks. Both stainless steel blades show full profiles with very minor handling patina, and all interior tools fold out with excellent, crisp factory snap action.
These knifes could be used but are more intended for collectors. I've done me best to identify and describe the details of the knife. The photos are the best description, as this is the item you will receive.
