This listing is for a vintage pocket knife: Vintage Victorinox Spartan "Economy" Edition 91mm Swiss Army Multi-Tool Knife.
This highly collectible vintage pocket companion represents Victorinox's classic mid-century 'Economy' line, featuring distinctive textured red nylon scales with a blank molded shield crest and the scarce 'ECONOMY' factory tang stamp across the secondary pen blade.
The knife was made in Switzerland by Victorinox. The handle appears to be made from textured matte nylon (Econoline composition scales) and the blade and metal parts from high-grade stainless steel. The knife's main blade is approx. 6.8 cm (overall closed length is exactly 91mm / 9.1 cm). The knife appears to be from approx. 1980s (Drawn from the combination of the specific four-line master stamp, the grooved corkscrew, and the un-serifed text layout).
The condition of the knife is in good vintage condition. There is signs of age and use. The knife may need sharpening, cleaning and oiling. The matte red nylon handle scales exhibit honest cosmetic pocket-wear and light superficial scuffing consistent with age, but remain tightly fitted with no deep cracks. Both stainless steel blades show full factory profiles with minor handling patina, and all layers deploy with a crisp snap.
These knifes could be used but are more intended for collectors. I've done me best to identify and describe the details of the knife. The photos are the best description, as this is the item you will receive.
