1950s US Air Force Stinson Sentinel Rhein River Vintage 8mm Home Movie Film
Estate Sale Find - estimate early 1950s based on other films also acquired with this.
Approx 2:30 long, including footage of US Air Force soldiers with Stinson L-5 Sentinel (based on my research) planes, not sure if at a base or what the location was, some is just open field, some footage of take off and then couple of segments of aerial footage of cities below (not sure what cities) and based on the title segment "Following the Rhein River", would be footage of the river and general area. Overall good clarity and color, but footage taken while up in the air is more of black/white or grayscale and not as crisp.
Film played ok for me and does not appear to have any vinegar smell to it, but it is vintage, going on 70+ years old, and inherently is at risk like any old film for issues with condition and integrity.
