Vintage variant can

Up for sale is a highly collectible, authentic vintage Case XX Honing Oil metal can from W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co., Bradford, Pennsylvania.

Unlike the overwhelmingly common versions featuring the vertical white plastic spout and red screw cap, this is the hard-to-find late 1960s / early 1970s variation featuring a brown plastic 90-degree swivel toggle/lever dispenser. Pushing the lever down seals the opening flat to prevent spills.

Condition Details:Fluid Level: The can is original and still contains approximately 70% of its original honing oil fluid. Paper label damaged on one side of can

Cosmetics: Features great vintage patina. The face and back graphics are clear, legible, and vibrant. There is some expected vintage wear, most notably some discoloration, paint loss, and light surface oxidation/tarnish along the top metal rim and corners (please review all photos closely).

Functionality: The rare brown toggle cap moves smoothly and seals tightly as intended.This is an excellent addition to any vintage pocket knife display, Case XX collection, or handy oiler shelf.
