This listing is for a RARE Antique Late 19th Century (1870-1899) Neoclassical Covered Water/Beverage Jug/Pitcher (the rarity here is the large size - not a creamer size) which is approximately 9 1/4" tall x 7 1/2" length handle to side x 6 1/2" at its widest point with a 2 quart capacity and was in Manufactured in 1884.  Crafted by Wedgwood in England of the United Kingdom, this RARE Antique Jug/Pitcher is Dark Royal Blue with a White Neoclassical Cupid Design Pattern with a Pewter Cover/Lid that can only be properly described through pictures!  Ready, willing and definitely able, this rare jug lies in wait to become the latest addition to your Wedgwood Collection.

The condition of this piece is VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT with NO chips, cracks, crazing, fading or any other visual imperfections.  This is a used piece so there is some minor usage wear & tear (pewter lid shows patina, minor usage wear to finish, minor usage wear to underside foot ring) consistent with its antique age.
