Background

I am continuing to break down for sale a large accumulation of stamps amassed over 50 + years by my father and latterly myself, including my own Commonwealth/GB collection. 

Because of the level of sales I am now experiencing, Ebay has required me to operate as a business seller. Please note I am NOT a business. I am a retired Civil Servant selling a private collection of stamps. Typical stamp dealers on Ebay List 4-10,000 items at a time. My monthly Listing total - including unsold relistings - is around 300-500. The only benefit is that I am no longer required to use the Simple Delivery posting system, which means on average postage costs for buyers will be more economical.

Any catalogue prices quoted come from the SG 2022 Simplified Stamps of the World catalogues or the SG 2024 Commonwealth catalogue. The stamps are most often in good to fine condition, again unless otherwise stated.

Refunds

I will accept returns/refund any items where you believe the descriptions are false or misrepresented or there are other issues with the items you receive. 

Postage

Situation re USA Buyers:

Unfortunately, owing to the issues, complexities and costs - for both buyers and sellers - as a result of the US Tariff system, I am no longer offering sales to the US. I hope the position changes in the future and am grateful to those in the US who have taken an interest in the items I have Listed.

I will combine postage for multiple items sent domestically and internationally. 

I will normally - depending on location - post outside of the UK on a tracked cost basis where items cost more than £25 or on a standard international basis for items which cost below that. Feel free to contact me on postage options if you are in countries outside of the EU/Europe. 

Please note that the postage charge quoted is to accommodate locations like Australia. For closer locations e.g. in Europe, the cost will be less and I will refund any excess paid to the actual cost charged by the courier.

Customs Charges Following Brexit

Please note that as a result of Brexit EU buyers may face additional customs charges once items are received in their country. You will wish to factor this into your bidding. Items may also take longer to arrive because of Customs checks.
