A striking large vintage art-glass bowl or ashtray with a sculptural triangular form.

Made from thick clear glass with vibrant turquoise-blue and amber internal colouring. Rows of controlled air bubbles are suspended throughout the glass, producing an attractive optical effect when viewed from different angles.

The substantial size and weight make this an impressive decorative statement piece. It could be displayed as an ashtray, trinket dish, centrepiece, catch-all bowl or example of mid-century art glass.

The colouring, controlled bubbles and hand-formed appearance are reminiscent of Italian Murano glass. However, the piece is unsigned and has no surviving maker’s label, so its factory and country of origin cannot be confirmed.
