An attractive original botanical watercolour painting depicting fuchsia flowers intertwined with delicate pale-green flowering foliage.

Painted by hand on textured watercolour paper in soft, natural shades of green, pink and red. The fine detailing and restrained palette give it the appearance of a traditional botanical study.

The painting is signed by the artist, although the signature is indistinct and has not been identified. It is also initialled “ELTC” within the composition. No attribution is being made, and close-up photographs of the markings are included for buyers to assess.

Presented behind glass with a cream mount and decorative metallic-effect stepped frame. Ready to hang and display.

CONDITION

The watercolour itself remains attractive and well presented. There is some age-related discolouration and occasional marking to the mount. The frame has visible surface wear, scuffs and small areas of finish loss, particularly around the edges and corners.

The painting has not been removed from the frame. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the condition description.
