On offer is a seven [7] pin Bakelite plug with the Air Ministry Reference No. 10H/258 B.

The plug has the Reference No. 10H/258 B embossed / engraved on the top cover, along with 'AM' with the Kings Crown between the letters.

These I have been told were used with numerous pieces of WW2 airborne wireless and radar equipment, including the IFF Control Unit Type 90 - Ref No. 10LB/91 as used on the Lancaster bomber, but have not had the time to research or find out for certain.

If you are looking at this you probably know all about its origins and uses. The plug has been used and is in good condition; however, it would be wrong of me not to mention a small chip out of the cover, which I have shown in photographs 7 and 14. 

These used to be available on the surplus market in their thousands during the 1950s / 1960s and essential for the restoration of many pieces of Air Ministry / RAF equipment, but now are becoming much more difficult to find.
