Ant. German Porcelain Girl Figure #8038 Conta Boehme Fairing Style Spill Vase 5"

This listing is for an authentic antique porcelain German figurine made by Conta & Boehme between 1880 to 1900. The young girl is very well marked with the Conta & Boehme mark and numbered 8038. There are 2 other marks, one which is probably the artists mark. The child is standing in front of a stump which is open and referred to as a receptacle spill vase. The stump has some rough areas which could serve as a match strike. The figurine is decorated with raised applied flowers and leaves. There is some loss of petals and leaves, see images. The firm excelled at producing high quality bisque. She measures 5 inches tall. She is a lovely well marked figurine.
