The vase has a flared silhouette, wider at the rim and tapering to a narrower base, wrapped in a bold, blousy peony and chrysanthemum floral design with a plain silver band at the rim. The centers of the flowers are satin/frosted glass, adding lovely dimensional contrast to the design. The silver itself is in lovely condition — thick and crisply detailed, with only light surface tarnish consistent with age rather than any real loss or wear.

The glass blank has a ground, polished pontil with a slight center indent and no mold seams, consistent with a quality blown blank of the era (commonly sourced by Rockwell from glasshouses such as Tiffin or Fostoria) — a hallmark of hand-finished construction rather than mass-molded glass. A small mark is present on the base.

Clear glass body. Measures approximately 6½” wide at the top, 4⅝” wide at the base, and 12” tall. No chips or cracks. A light silver polish would bring the shine back up beautifully.
