Product Overview
A 4.5 metre TV aerial lead with a PAL (Belling-Lee) male plug at each end — one straight, one turned through 90°. It runs from an antenna wall plate to a television, set-top box, PVR or FM/DAB tuner.
The right-angle end is the point of it. A lead standing straight out of the back of a slim panel levers on the aerial socket every time the set is moved, and it stops a wall-mounted television sitting flat against the wall. Turning the plug through 90° takes the strain off the socket and lets the cable run down or sideways behind the set.
At 4.5 metres this is the long rung of the range. It is meant for the runs a standard short flylead will not make — a wall plate on the opposite side of the room, a cable routed around a doorway, or a set-top box sitting away from the outlet. If your outlet sits directly behind the television, the shorter lead is the tidier choice.
Check the ends before ordering. Both ends are MALE plugs, so this joins a wall plate to a device. If you need to make a lead you already own longer you want a male-to-female extension instead, which is a different product.
