Ceylon WWII Transpacific air cover to UK with a total franking of Rs 5.25 tied by 18 AP/41 d/s. The cover was carried to Karachi By Tata Airlines, then to Rangoon by BOAC, Rangoon-Chunking-HongKong by CNAC,  PAN AM FAM 14 to USA then to UK.  The Rs 5.25 per 1/2 oz Trans Pacific rate was effective from Oct 15, 1940 to April 1941. SOme cover creasing and tears from opening but scarce usage.
