Offered for auction this beautiful vintage ROLEX "Thunderbird Turn-o-graph" Oyster Perpetual Datejust Ref. #1625, an automatic officially certified chronometer men's watch in a heavy 18K solid yellow gold case, manufactured in 1967. The watch comes in excellent clean and sharp condition, never being polished or altered in any way, with it's original solid 18k gold buckle that itself costs about $1200.

This rare collectible model is equipped with a genuine Rolex 1570 caliber 26 jewels automatic movement, that is excellent-working and keeping time, fully serviced about 10 years ago. 

The watch looks stunning with its bi-directional rotating bezel, an original clean silver-color dial, that's been never re-finished. The original crystal is almost clean.

The 18k gold case is clean and sharp including a smoothly rotating bezel that is hard to find in this condition. The bezel features 60-minute graduations, allowing the wearer to calculate increments of time while flying or sailing, making it an ideal utility watch for professional sailers and pilots.

The watch is supplied with a 20 mm tan leather band with an original 18k gold Rolex buckle, ready to wear and enjoy.

This collectible timepiece would be an excellent financial investment, always raising its value.
