But, Whoa ! on the " 15th " - as I mean let's face it ... that is about Twice ! ( or More !! ) the time that most Rock & Roll Bands hit their ' Prime ' ... going with the " Lucky 7 " 7th-Year Rock & Roll History Theory ... And, offered here proudly indeed is truly one of the Greatest ! Grateful Dead Pins of All-Time ... the 1980 " Grateful Dead - 15 Years " Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Venue-Specific Pin for the Good Ol' ( 1980 ! ) Grateful Dead Shows on Folsom Field at the University of Colorado Boulder - the Proud Home of the CU Colorado Buffaloes !!! And ... keep in mind too - being that this was the 15th Year Anniversary ! of the Grateful Dead ( 1965-1980 ) ... what ended up happening back in '80 is actually kinda funny! As these two ( 2 ) Shows in Boulder, Colorado - really ended up being the ' Kind-Of ' Official - yet, then kind of turned-into the " Official ! " " 15th Anniversary Celebration of the Grateful Dead !!! " - celebrated fondly by the Band, the Media ( kinda ... ) , and of course ... The Dead-Fans ! I remember listening to a Rare Radio Interview years & years ago ... and listened to Jerry Garcia talk about this whole " 15th " situation a bit at the time around '80 - and, it definitely had me laughing pretty darn hard, being that it was Garcia saying it & all ... Hilarious ! actually. They kind of just decided on these Shows as being the ' Official ' Celebration, due to lack of any type of serious planning at all ... and, no one really did anything about making any kind of an ' Official ' Celebration - so ... there you have it ! and Blammo ... and the Dead magically appear on the CU Football Field on the 1980 Summer Tour !!! 15-Years So Far ! - The Rock & Roll Celebration !! ... in Colorado !!! And hey, they were only 1/2 the way through too, at this point ... 1965 to 1995 - going " Thirty Years ( of Grateful Dead ! ) Upon Our Heads ", in the long-run ... Thankfully !!! So yes indeed, this is a way Big ! one here, in the grand scheme of all things " Grateful Dead ", and it should also be noted too ( naturally ... ) that these 2-Shows were Hot !!!!! Two ( 2 ) seriously-vital Childhood Friend Tapes of mine... and tapes that went on almost every-single Road Trip! - if, you catch my drift on that notion... the " High In The Rockies ! " Shows !!! A Few of the Best ! from the 1980 G.D. Touring-Year !! And ... like I even have to mention it - but ... How Cool !!! is this Pin ... actually featuring a ' 1965 Photo Image ! ' of the '65 Dead Jammin' - and Playing In the Band !!! A Long Time Ago, and In A Galaxy Far-Far Away ... ' from ' there even being ! a " Playin' In The Band " !!! Wow ... now ponder that ! for a while. What a Legendary ! Image on this one ... and how-fitting too - that on the " 15th " the Dead do it right ! ... for Themselves !! & for the Dead-Fan Faithful !!! -- Enjoy !!!!!

Pin has light dent/indentation surface marks, very light surface corner/edge wear, slight oxidation/rusting ( on backside ) & some general light patina from the natural aging process of this well-over 45-Year-Old ! Vintage Pin (please see photos/close-up photos). This Vintage Pin has been sealed inside protective plastic & kept safely for years ( decades ). Please see all photos & close-up photos provided.
