Grateful Dead Fans !!! ... and quite possibly too - those who have, or maybe even are ! no Stranger to Grate !-Times in West Palm Beach !!! ... and naturally too ... All ! Rick Griffin Rock Art Fans !!!  Well, offered here is the Vintage-Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Grateful Dead Backstage Pass ( sticker-patch / satin ) for the September 11, 1982 ( 9/11/82 ) Show at the West Palm Beach Auditorium - in West Palm Beach, Florida ( FLA ! ) !!!  And as you can very-well see from the photos provided ... this one is all Rick Griffin !!!  The one & only Rick Griffin, that is - as there is no other Fillmore Poster artist quite like him !  Well, and if you toured in '82, the '80's or maybe ? even the '90's, then you will be well aware that this fantastic " Uncle Sam Smokin' Skeleton Winged-Skull ! " design was definitely " The " Official GDP Tour Shirt to have, from this Amazing ! year for the Grateful Dead.  I myself always think of two main things when it comes to '82 Live Dead -- firstly, Garcia's tone & fret board attack !  As this was a totally transitional period, that really started in '81 where Jerry got both quicker ! & heavier !!  I showed one of my Rock & Roll Buddies the 3/28/81 Video ! not too long ago ( with The Who ! ), and my Buddy's comment was a True-Classic ! on that fine day ... and I'll never-ever forget it ... " Wow Man, Jerry's almost playing-Metal ?!? "  You-Betcha ! he was !!!  Totally-true in so many ways, as during certain jam-points & ascensions - this was a " collective " beefed-up Grateful Dead live - with some serious-attack ! & pure-muscle !!  And Secondly ... these were the early-days of the true emergence of the '80's-esque Bobby Weir that many Dead Fans love & live for !  Much vocal improv, that some Fans cherished, and other Fans, well ... you know - Hah !  I mean let's just put it this-way, as I mean how-else - would you even put it ?!  It's 1982 - like what ? over 35-years ago ? ... the time is Right ! for the Grateful Dead '82 Fall Tour --- and not only are you catching it in Florida ! ... but you're even doing it at West Palm Beach !!!  Dang ... I mean where is that " Time-Machine !?!?! ".  And too ... being that This-Show ! on 9/11/82 was also even on Mickey Hart's 39th Birthday ?! ... I mean there was High-Energy ! Everywhere !!  Minglewood had it ... Uncle > Big River ! had it ... C.C. Rider had it ... Dupree's - Loser & Let It Grow ! had-it - and we're not even into " Set II " in this conversation !?!  Because This ! my friends was a Pure ! G.D. Rock & Roll Grind-out !!!  Jerry's chops were just So !!! Incredibly !! Hot ! in '82, and this set is such a fine example ... so yeah, here it is ... & you tell me ?? >>> Scarlet > Fire - Sailor > Saint - Terrapin ! - Drums/Space > Truckin' ! > Stella Blue > Around > and yep, you bet ... One More Saturday Night !!!  Because yeah, as I forget to add earlier - with all of the other laundry-list of " Pluses " about This-Show ! ... it also was on a Saturday Night !  I mean talk-about Feelin' ... Alright !!  Hah !!!  Baby Blue for the Encore, and this one was indeed in the books ... as a Huge ! '82 Fall Tour G.D. Show !  And too ... the " Backstage Pass " for this Show was even on one of the way-rare " Yellow " Bordered ! Passes.  I mean check out the photos, and yes - I know ... it's pretty much hard ' not ' to fall immediately in-Love ! with this Pass.  What a Design ! ... & all the Credit in the World ! ... to " Griff " !!!  A Completely-Classic ! - Bold & Bright ! G.D. Pass indeed ... and naturally too, in Timeless ! Rick Griffin Style ! & Fashion !! ... Enjoy !!!!!
