Manufactured in Japan by HTC (Hoko Toy Co.), this portable metal knitter was originally marketed as an entry-level hobby kit for teenagers and beginners. It is a fantastic cross-collectible piece for vintage toy enthusiasts, sewing/knitting history collectors, or retro Japanese export hobby buffs!

• Original Metal Needle Bed & Carriage Block: High-polish chrome finish with all latch pins present. The carriage slides smoothly across the track.

• Original Cast-On Comb Attachment: Secures inside the storage slots.

• Original Illustrated Instruction Booklet: Features beautiful, vibrant 1950s/60s Japanese graphic artwork on the front cover and the official HTC hallmark logo on the back cover. Written in English.

• Original Wooden Storage Case: Sturdy natural wood construction featuring the branded, stylized "Teen Knit" script logo on the outer lid.
