This set of 5 plates are in the Arabic pattern by WH Grindley. Each plate has blue transferware decoration and measures approximately 9" in diameter. Each has the mark used by Grindley from about 1890 until 1914. The plates look very good overall; the colors are vibrant and lovely. 3 of the plates have one rim chip to the back, but one seems to be under the glaze so possibly a production flaw. One of those plates has a flea bite to the rim, also. These are not very visible from the front. There is crazing, some staining and surface scratches and marks. There are some pinholes and glaze pops which occurred during production. Please see my pictures and thanks for the interest!
