This is a Calcite Crystal Whelk Shell Fossil from Rucks Pit found in Florida filled with honey calcite dogtooth crystals. This specimens is truly unique and is a valuable collectible for those interested in rocks, fossils, or minerals.  2 Million Years old.  This shell has been cut and polished for display purposed to reveal the coating of honey calcite crystals inside.  The shell of this whelk is really preserved and shows a lot of detail after being polished on the cut surface.  These crystals react well and glow a light green/white to UV light and displays Phosphorescence.
