Technics SL-D3 Direct Drive Automatic Turntable – Vintage Made in Japan

Vintage Technics SL-D3 direct drive automatic turntable.

Unit has been tested with a record and is operational. Turntable spins correctly and audio output was confirmed. Please note that turntables of this type generally require connection through a suitable PHONO input or phono preamp for correct audio level.

Condition:

Pre-owned vintage condition with significant cosmetic wear, marks, dust and deterioration/wear to the platter mat. Please inspect all photos carefully as they form part of the description.

Includes cartridge/stylus as pictured. RCA audio leads attached.

IMPORTANT ELECTRICAL NOTICE:

The mains plug appears to be an aftermarket/replacement plug and is not believed to be the original factory plug. The new owner will need to have the turntable professionally inspected, tested and tagged by a suitably qualified person before connecting it to mains power or using it.

COSMETIC CONDITION:

The unit shows scratches, marks, dust, discolouration and general age-related wear.

The original platter mat is heavily deteriorated and will require replacement covered in a sticky residue.

Dust cover is NOT included.

The cartridge/stylus is included as pictured. Due to its age, the remaining stylus life is unknown and replacement may be recommended.
