This is a BEAUTIFUL hand tatted baby or doll bonnet with ribbon rosettes on both sides!

Tatting is definitely a by gone sewing craft!

This one is for a small baby or a larger doll. It is hard to measure but you can estimate by my handholding it. It might have been a christening bonnet.

This is AS IS condition. There are several places that have been kind of looped together. See ALL photos.

The lace is scalloped around the face. Each end is trimmed with ecru satin or silk rosettes. The loops have tiny pink ribbon tied to many of the loops. I’ve never seen this done before. I love the effect!

This would be a fun piece to reinvent into sachets or attachments on gifts or Bridal something old…. The sky is the limit!
