Rare tin car van toy by Whitan Co.

Made in England around the 1920's.
This looks to be some sort of candy container?

Sold as spares and repairs as the back door is missing and the clockwork feature is partly missing, so it does not work. Still a very rare toy that is hardly seen.

measures approx 14cm long.

This would make a great restoration project for someone.
