Lovely bobbin rush foot stool in the Jacobean style. This is an arts & crafts movement revival.

Circa late 19th / early 20th century.

Approximately 15" inches wide and 12" inches tall.

Bobbin turned legs and cross stretcher, with nice rush work seating. The legs and stretcher appears to have been painted at some point, but very long time ago. You can see in the pictures under the paint its original ebonised finish. Some signs of age related wear that you would expected of a stool this old. But overall nice and structurally sound.
