A beautiful, highly characterful vintage/antique small Indian wooden wall cabinet, sourced from Kempton Antiques Market. Originally used as a merchant's small valuables, spice, or key cupboard, this rustic piece features a glazed front door opening to reveal a naturally aged wood interior fitted with hand-forged internal iron hooks.

The cabinet retains incredible layers of historical paint in muted tones of sea green, dark teal, and ochre, all heavily weathered and distressed to create a perfect primitive patina. It can be utilized as a unique wall-mounted key box, a rustic jewellery organizer, or a small specimen display case.

Condition Details:

• Structure: Solid and sturdy with excellent weight, showing beautiful, honest age splits to the rear timber that do not affect structural integrity (see back view in IMG_3979.jpg).

• Finish: Heavily distressed original layered paint on the front and sides with exposed natural grain (refer to IMG_3977.jpg and IMG_3978.jpg).

• Hardware: Features original rustic iron hinges, a side latch, and a sturdy top-mounting iron bracket for easy wall hanging. The internal hooks are hand-driven and securely set (see interior view in IMG_3981.jpg).
